Mateo's Café & Snack Bar is located in the picturesque small port of the new town of Monemvasia, right next to the sea. It is open all day long and you can enjoy your breakfast or coffee or drink an ouzo with a variety of seafood. Mateo's specialties are seafood appetizers, among which we recommend the grilled octopus and squid and the marinated anchovies.

For beer and ouzo lovers, here you may find the largest variety of these drinks not only in Monemvasia but in the wider region, with more than 30 beer labels (Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, etc.) and 15 ouzo labels (from Lesvos island, Chios island, etc).
